Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of CapturedMemories, an independent solo project operated by an individual based in Lebanon (“CapturedMemories”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, scanning an event QR code, or uploading content, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who may use CapturedMemories

Venue and couple accounts are for users aged 18 or older. By uploading at an event, you confirm you are old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, and that you have the right to share what you upload.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and messages you upload (“Content”). You grant the hosting venue and the couple the ability to view, store, download, and display your Content for the event, and you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to operate the service.

You agree not to upload Content that:

• you do not have the right to share;
• depicts a person who has not consented, or a child without their parent/guardian’s consent;
• is unlawful, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• contains malware or violates anyone’s rights.

4. Moderation, reporting & takedown

Venues can moderate, hide, or remove Content at their discretion. If you believe Content is unlawful, infringes your rights, or was shared without consent, contact us at WebDropVenues@gmail.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it. We may remove Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Plans & payment

Plans and storage limits are described on our pricing page. Online billing is not yet enabled, so plans are currently provisioned manually and no charges are taken through the service; any prices shown are indicative until checkout goes live. If we introduce paid billing, fees will be as described at checkout and non-refundable except where required by law, and we may change pricing on reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access data that isn’t yours, no automated abuse of upload links, no uploading content designed to overload or harm the service, and no reselling the service without our agreement.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of important media.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CapturedMemories and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or media. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CapturedMemories harmless from claims arising out of Content you upload or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes, termination & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes take effect on the date we post the revised version. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Lebanon. Questions: WebDropVenues@gmail.com.
